YOUTH ORGANIZING

Teen Empowerment's Boston Youth Organizing Program operates with a strong presence across two program sites situated in the vibrant Warren Gardens area of Roxbury and the dynamic Howard-Dacia neighborhood of Dorchester.

As a dedicated partner to numerous community and municipal organizations, TE Boston collaborates on impactful violence prevention and positive youth development initiatives within the community.

Our commitment to fostering trust and understanding between youth and law enforcement has garnered recognition, including the prestigious 2016 Collaborate Boston award from The Boston Foundation, celebrating our outstanding work alongside the Boston Police Department in building relationships founded on trust and mutual respect.

Together, we strive to create safer, more inclusive communities where the voices of youth are valued and amplified.

TEEN EMPOWERMENT STUDIOS

Teen Empowerment Studios, formerly known as B4 Studios, stands as TE's youth-run artist collaborative in Boston. With a profound commitment to artistic excellence, our talented young artists collaborate to create original, professional-quality music and performance arts that transcend boundaries and inspire social change.

Through their innovative expressions, Teen Empowerment Studios cultivates a vibrant space where voices are amplified, stories are shared, and the power of creativity becomes a catalyst for positive transformation within both the artists themselves and the wider community.

VISIONS FOR THE FUTURE

Reducing Recidivism & Restoring Communities
VISIONS FOR THE FUTURE provides mentoring, emotional support and job training to successfully support young adults (16-25) returning home from incarceration. Returning citizens, mentors, professionals, Restorative Justice facilitators/practitioners, and circle keepers lean on their lived experiences and successful reintegration to reach and impact young men who have been affected and traumatized by crime, fatherlessness, poverty, and more. Providing education, job training, emotional support, community-based programs, and mentoring to returning citizens helps reduce the likelihood of reoffending.
